PEKIN ~ Rheuelma Beever, 91 of Pekin, passed away at 9:45 a.m., Monday, July 26, 2010 at Amy’s Country Manor.

Rheuelma was born July 26, 1919 in Annetta, KY to Deolie and Ethel (Bradley) Elmore.  She married Ray F. Beever in Pekin.  He preceded her in death on October 13, 1983 in Pekin.  She was also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Hal and Orville.

Surviving are two daughters; Sharin (Charles) Risinger of Tremont and Candice (Donald) Beever-England of  Orion; one sister, Harriett Thornton of Pekin; three step-brothers, J.D. (Alfreda) Elmore, Howard (Pat) Elmore, both of Litchfield, KY, A.D. (Brenda) Elmore of Clarkson, KY.  She is also survived by four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Rheuelma worked for Hiram-Walker Distillary in Pekin in the bottling department.  She later worked for Foster & Gallagher as an order filler, she then last worked at Bergners.

She loved gardening, shopping, traveling and babysitting for her grandchildren.

Her graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin.  The Rev. Dale Schaefer will officiate.  There will be no visitation.
