Cole Allen Bianchi

PEKIN ~ Cole Allen Bianchi, 41, of Pekin, passed away at 1:28 p.m. Sunday, February 4, 2018 at his home.

Born February 14, 1976 in Pekin to Stephen Ray and Jacqueline Sue (Reames) Bianchi, he married Heather N. Walley on November 17, 2007 Peoria.  She survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Talia Rose Bianchi and Mira Bella Bianchi, both at home; his mother, Jackie Bianchi of Pekin; his father, Steve Bianchi of Pekin; one brother, Craig Aaron (Jeff Mitchell) Bianchi of West Hollywood, California; his grandfather, Ray (Joyce Johnson) Bianchi of Pekin; his in-laws, Jim & Bonnie Vonk of Chillicothe; two brothers-in-law, Jason (Becki) Walley and Ryan (Katie) Vonk, both of Chillicothe and a grandmother-in-law, Patricia LeMaster of Chillicothe.

Cole was a 1994 graduate of Pekin Community High School, where he played golf, basketball and track.  He was a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Graphic Design.  He had also attended the University of Illinois.

Cole worked for Caterpillar, Inc. for the last 14 years in the transmission business unit, Building A.C. at Mossville.  He last worked Friday.

Cole was a devoted and doting father, a loving husband and a special son and brother.  He loved to play pool, play the guitar and sing karaoke.  He also had a great sense of humor.

He was of the Catholic faith.

His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.  Father Michael Andrejek will officiate.  Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an educational fund for his children, in care of any CEFCU Member Center.
