PEKIN ~ Ancile E. “Annie” Radcliff, 88, of Mason City, passed away at 12:45 a.m. Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Mason City Area Nursing Home. She was formerly of Pekin and Green Valley.
Born November 5, 1929 in Green Valley to John and Ila Marie (Campbell) Havens, she married Ray Thomas Radcliff on July 26, 1947 in Pekin. He died January 4, 2013 in Mason City. She also was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers and five sisters.
Surviving are one son, Aaron K. Radcliff of Pekin; one daughter, Melody R. (Keith) Cain of Groveland; three grandchildren, Rebecca (Spencer) Erby of Mapleton, Josh Radcliff of Pekin and Nathanael (Emily) Cain of Westminster, Colorado and three great-grandchildren.
Annie had worked for the former Boss Glove Factory in Peoria, as a dispenser for Neu Optical and then Weiser Optical in Pekin. She last worked as a greeter at the Pekin Wal-Mart for 6 years.
She was a 50-year member of First Presbyterian Church in Green Valley and the Women’s Society of the church.
A loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Annie enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.
Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Charles Houston will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before the funeral. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
