PEORIA ~ Carlene Behrends, 83, of Peoria, passed away at 6:28 p.m. Saturday, September 29, 2018 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

She was born April 22, 1935 in Glasford to Carl and Mary (Shryock) Hootman.

A homemaker, Carlene enjoyed shopping, reading, attending theater performances and spending time with friends.

Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
