Anna M. Loeffelmann

PEKIN ~ Anna Mae Loeffelmann, 73, of Pekin, passed away at 1:55 p.m. Sunday, August 11, 2019 at Timbercreek Rehab & Healthcare in Pekin.
Born July 3, 1946 in Pekin to John Michael and Thelma (Hudson) Freidinger, she married Joseph Loeffelmann on August 3, 2013 in Pekin. He survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Paula (John) Chears and Esther Pollard, both of Pekin; two sons, Richard Schurman of Washburn, Michael (Jodie) Schurman of Peoria; sixteen grandchildren; three sisters, Myrtle (Bill) Hahn of Pekin, Sharon Sailor of Springfield, and Evelyn (Lloyd) Rice of Strawn; and three brothers, Leo Freidinger, Duane Freidinger, both of Pekin, and Bill Davis of Harrison, Arkansas, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two grandsons and one sister.
She had worked as a CNA for 30 years, last working for Manor Care, Riverview in East Peoria, retiring in 2005.
Anna loved being with her family. Her children and grandchildren were her joy. She also enjoyed shopping and watching television, especially Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, Chicago PD and Blue Bloods with her grandchildren.
She was a member of City Church in Pekin where her memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, August 18, 2019. Pastor Shane Hawkins will officiate. There will be no visitation. Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
